To promote harmonious relations between all individuals and groups regardless of race, color, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. ~ To oversee the borough’s commitment to equal rights. To prevent and respond to bias crime and acts of prejudice in our community. ~ To encourage individuals, schools, churches, and community groups to carry out programs that will promote understanding and harmonious relations with a diverse population.

  • If you have been a victim of a bias or hate crime please contact the Audubon Police Department at 547-0715 (ask for the bias officer). 

  • If you are aware of a problem, have a suggestion, or would just like to talk to someone about this issue please contact Ann at 546-0818 or Frank at  audubonhrc@aol.com

The Audubon Human Relations Commission is developing a  "Welcome to the Neighborhood" packet to be brought to all new residents. Any organization that has a brochure, flyer, special event advertisement, etc. that they would like to have included is welcome to send a small supply to the AHRC. Businesses are also welcome to include business card, coupons, special offers, or anything of the type.

We aim to make this packet helpful, informative, and friendly to new residents. Any suggestions are welcome.
